Lamar’s barrel races to end up August were fast and exciting. Barrel races will continue through October for the SECCC series. You do not have to be a member to run and all races are SCBRA approved. Karisa and her staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and they produce a great barrel race week after week.
Well another year is in the books for SECCC and I would like to say congratulations to all the year-end winners. Thanks to our great members we as always had some great awards to give out. 2016-seccc-points-final for pictures of winners go to Facebook page SECCC
We had great weather Sunday for our last race even if the arena ground was still a little wet. We made a smaller pattern to try to stay out of the mud but the ground was still pretty heavy. Cindy Thompson made a great run with a 16.307 as our last runner of the day. Thanks everyone for attending our races. We will be looking at the calendar through out the year and if we see any free dates for a barrel race we will schedule something. We gave away beautiful hand crafted by Bob Fulton.
Had a great turn out for our first April race. 31 runners and 4 pee wees. Our last race will be April 24th Hope to see everyone that is not at the BBR finals there. For those of you going to the BBR finals good luck and have fun. Wish I was there!
The weather was great and we had a good turn out for the barrel race. We were blessed to have Crystal Logan from Arizona give a devotion and prayer before the barrel started on Sunday afternoon. Weather was great and even a few got sun burned. Our next race will be this Saturday March 26th, on a Saturday so you all can spend Easter with your family on Sunday.
We had a great turn out Sunday for our buckle series race even though there were two other barrel races going on the same time in the SE Colorado. Thank you all the barrel racers that came and supported the Tanner Time Training Center Sunday.
We had 26 entries in barrel race and 6 runners in the poles.
